We've raised a bit of a monster.

The most powerful SUV coupé from Audi Sport: the Audi RS Q8 with an output of 441 kW. In addition to its RS performance, it impresses with its exceptional versatility - both in terms of driving experience and design.

Already receiving a world-class performance accolade, the Audi RS Q8 is the fastest SUV around the famous Nürburgring with a lap time of 7 minutes and 42.2 seconds, which is faster than a first generation R8 V10 plus around the same circuit.

A force of nature

The figures tell some of the story but can’t effectively convey the emotions or sensations when the 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 is unleashed. With 441 kW of power, an incredible 800 Nm of torque and quattro permanent all-wheel drive, the sprint from standstill to 100km/h is all over in a mere 3.8 seconds. Yet with its clever 48V mild hybrid system and cylinder on demand technology, the Audi RS Q8 can seamlessly deactivate a whole bank of cylinders for efficiency when that extraordinary urge is not required.

Immense power on the road

The all-new Audi RS Q8 offers the legendary quattro drive with sport differential for wheel-selective power distribution. Supporting that is the standard adaptive air suspension sport with RS-characteristic tuning together with the standard all-wheel steering for agile response and high driving stability. The active roll stabilisation also improves the dynamic handling, especially on corners. You can change the vehicle characteristics via Audi drive select using the “RS MODE” button on the steering wheel.

Powerful & dynamic: the design

Even sitting still, the Audi RS Q8 has an undeniable presence that instantly identifies the Audi RS Q8 as something very special. With its honeycomb radiator grille and large air intakes in gloss black and the dark tinted HD Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators, the front end – or face of the RS Q8 – leaves no doubt as to the vehicle’s enormous supercar performance potential and makes a strong, yet restrained comment.

The overall styling is muscular and purposeful, yet with an undeniable elegance. The guards have been massaged out an additional 10mm in homage to the vehicle’s quattro heritage but also to accommodate the 23-inch alloy wheels. While on the rear, the bold RS-specific diffuser and distinctive RS oval exhaust pipes add to the overall impact of the RS Q8 as well as serving their own practical purpose. Likewise, the roof-edge spoiler adds another understated design element while also serving to provide downforce as speeds increase.

Expansive yet intimate: the interior

Spacious yet intimate, richly appointed yet minimal and elegant in design, the interior of the RS Q8 represents a showcase of the brand’s legendary interior architecture and finish. From the premium Valcona leather upholstery with honeycomb stitching and RS sport front seats with ventilation, to the sleek minimalist design of the instrument touchscreens, every conceivable detail has been considered and beautifully executed.

Whether it be the symmetrically styled centre console which can be surrounded in a carbon twill matt or the optional RS design packages in grey or red, the combination of Alcantara leather steering wheel and gear lever with contrasting seams allow for an elegant interior space from which to enjoy the world’s most potent high-performance SUV.

The enigma: Performance meets practicality

With supercar performance in a large, luxury SUV, the Audi RS Q8 represents an unheard of combination of race-bred performance and everyday practicality. A vehicle capable of 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds that offers up to 1,755 litres of storage may seem an enigma, but the RS Q8 proves otherwise. Practicality is as much at the heart of this vehicle as performance, with rear seats that adjust fore and aft as standard and can also be folded 40:20:40 for maximum versatility.
