The Classic Days at Schloss Dyck took place on July 30 and August 1, 2010 at the prestigious water castle at Jüchen in the German Rheinland.
Audi Tradition displayed two of the gems from its historical collection. Lining up on the grid were the Auto Union Type D from 1939 and the Audi 200 quattro Trans-Am from 1988.
To the joy of the large number of people who turned up on the two days, twice rally world champion Christian Geistdörfer drove the two classic racing cars over the approximately 3-kilometre circuit. For Geistdörfer himself the event was his first opportunity to sit behind the wheel of an Auto Union Silver Arrow, and after the first run he described the experience as "unique" and "indescribable".
Against the fabulous backdrop of the castle, the Audi Tradition duo were also flanked by the Auto Union Type A of Belgian importer D´Ieteren and a few lovingly maintained Audi quattro cars from the Audi club scene.
In Club Corner on the Miscanthus field – in what has now become a tradition in itself – there were also numerous Audi, Auto Union, DKW and NSU vehicles from the regional clubs to be seen.
Participating racing cars: an Auto Union Silver Arrow and the Audi 200 quattro Trans-Am.
The most important anniversaries in the Audi company history.
